Overview 

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was introduced in 1972 - it was an iconic design by Gerald Genta - with its octagon shape case design, "tapisserie" pattern dial (which we learn to love) and integrated bracelet.

This reference is the first to feature the double bar index at 12 and AP butterfly deploy clasp.

This reference is the previous reference of the Royal Oak Chronograph. This reference was discontinued in 2017, and no longer produced.
