The PAM00088 is the Luminor GMT in Panerai's 44mm cushion case — the reference as configured before the brand's transition to the full in-house calibre range. The OP XI automatic in this case is an in-house developed movement on an established base architecture, representing the intermediate generation of Panerai calibre development.

The 44mm case is stainless steel in the Luminor's cushion form — flattened arcs meeting at the crown side, where Panerai's crown guard protects the winding crown from accidental depression. The crown lever must be lifted before the crown can be turned; what originated as a functional tool-watch feature for professional divers has become the Luminor's primary visual identifier and the main case architecture distinguishing it from the Radiomir. The black dial carries Arabic numeral chapters at the cardinal positions, applied luminous indices elsewhere. Water resistance is 100 metres.

The OP XI is an automatic calibre with a GMT complication, displaying a second time zone via a 24-hour hand readable against a fixed scale on the dial. Power reserve is approximately 42 hours.
